History and Mission
For over 40 years OFMA has been working to reduce
fire deaths and improve the life safety of every Oregonian.
Established around the time the first Oregon Fire Code went into
effect in the late 60's, OFMA has existed as the premier fire and
life safety organization in the State of Oregon.
Mission:
The mission of the Oregon Fire Marshals Association is to
provide support and coordination for education, engineering,
and enforcement related to fire prevention and safety for
the State of Oregon
Vision:
The vision of the Oregon Fire Marshals Association is to
make our state the safest in the nation by leading, serving,
and supporting fire and life safety efforts in Oregon.
